Michael D. Stultz
Michael is a partner with the firm and focuses his practice on financial-institution litigation, lender-liability defense, complex loan workouts, and enforcement of creditors' rights in federal bankruptcy proceedings. He has successfully litigated and enforced his clients' rights in both state court and federal adversarial bankruptcy proceedings.
In addition, Michael has significant experience in the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts concerning S&S's corporate and financial institution clients, including those involving their vendors and business partners. He also has experience in a wide array of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions of business assets, and the resolution of shareholder disputes.
Michael is a frequent lecturer on consumer and commercial bankruptcy, large-scale real estate default, foreclosure, adversarial litigation in bankruptcy, replevin, garnishment, consumer collections, and compliance under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
