Douglas A. Stephan
Douglas is a partner with the firm and focuses on the representation of financial institutions and businesses. Prior to joining Stultz & Stephan, Douglas represented debtors in a high volume bankruptcy practice, where he gained invaluable experience handling matters under Chapter 7 and 13 of the bankruptcy code. This insight provides Douglas broad experience to effectively enforce his creditor clients’ rights in bankruptcy proceedings.
Douglas also has experience with corporate representation. He is able to provide business clients with effective and efficient solutions in both business litigation and transactional matters. Having formerly operated his own law practice, Douglas has valuable insight to assist businesses through the myriad of issues they face throughout their operation.
Douglas received his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit School of Law. While there, Douglas was a staff and associate editor of the Ohio Northern Law Review. Douglas also assisted numerous non-profit clients in the Corporate Transactional Clinic. He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.
